Visionary was the first Macintosh application to connect desk top publishing with high end Scitex workstations. In its first phase it was based on a special version of QuarkXPress and later became a series of Quark Xtensions. It adds functionality to the design features of XPress as well as connecting to a Scitex production workstation. Includes capabilities such as custom grid creation and editing, multiple point blends), close cropping, an annotation layer and many others.
