A complete remote proofing solution.
Connects to a Scitex production system. Takes print ready files and sends them to a remote site across telecommunication lines (images are compressed using JPEG algorithms). Images are printed out unattended at high resolution (on an Iris ink jet printer) at the remote site. Tools exist for calling the image up to the screen and annotating using a variety of tools as well as voice annotation. A joint annotation session may be held where Echo is used as a communications tool. Makes extensive use of AppleEvents as well as other Macintosh System 7.0 features.
